Becoming an “official blogger”
By lesleycoe on Aug 5, 2008 in General Thoughts and tagged blogger, instructional technology, moodle
After months and months of blog voyeurism, I have decided to join the blogging world. I have realized that I heavily rely on the blogposts of others to jumpstart my creative processes…perhaps I can do that for someone else. In my capacity as “Instructional Technology Facilitator” (quite a mouthful!) for several middle schools, I have maintained a Moodle course page in which I periodically post links and resources that I think would be beneficial to teachers in their classrooms. What I have come to realize is that although I try to include a snippet about each link and why I think it’s worth investigating, it’s often not enough information and the page has evolved into a lengthy mess.
It is my goal through my new blog adventure that I will be able to post tools, tips and resources for all interested educators. As this will always be a work in progress, your comments and suggestions are encouraged and welcomed. I am a strong believer in the power of collaboration.
